A web-based augmented reality interactive tour of NYC's Dyckman Farmhouse Museum, with ASL guide videos for deaf visitors.
Contribution: Front-End Web Development
Technologies: JavaScript, HTML + CSS, A-Frame AR library
I developed this as part of a CS independent study led by Professor Craig Kapp. The program examined how digital design and new technologies could be leveraged to make museum experiences more accessible.
Over the course of a month, I collaborated with two Museum Studies graduate students to help them prototype their idea for an AR tour of Dyckman Farmhouse. I toured the museum with them during the design stage, helped them refine their idea and ensure it was technically feasible, and adhered to the interface mockups they provided me with to build a working prototype.
